Ardor Keto Diet Do you want hungry consumers to consume ants covered with chocolates or crunchy crunchy sandwiches?
New research suggests that if you’re marketing protein-rich insects like food, the key is to focus on taste and luxury.
So you find an advertising experience that aims to make Germany cover the crowds, an oral term that basically means “eating insects.”
And because he was familiar with the strong sales available, researcher Sebastian Berger highlighted several reasons, nothing to do with taste, to seriously consider insect-based cooking.
“It is rich in protein, organic and a healthy option compared to traditional meats,” says Berger. With 25 percent of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions from food production, the collection of insects produced only a fraction of the greenhouse gases emitted in the production of meat products.
Berger is an associate professor in the Department of Organization and Management of Human Resources of the University of Bern in Switzerland.
In the end, Berger said: “But” delicious “Peppy” to get new fans of worms and cockroaches.
“Most humans eat insects, or come from a culture where eating insects is normal,” he noted. But Berger acknowledged that in the Western world, this practice “is often associated with [disgusting] emotions.”
In view of this, “utility claims are not expected to work well in the case of eating insects.”
In the study, the volunteers were described as “well educated” and had ages between 18 and 72 years.
In a laboratory setting, everyone was told that the study was about “new products” instead of insect foods. After completing a food questionnaire, they all reviewed an information sheet that contains one of the two advertising options for an emerging insect company. The insects that have been promoted for the first time are “fantastic” or good for the body or the environment. The second ad promoted insect food as “delicious”, “exotic” or “trendy”.
The participants were then asked if they would try to take a chocolate truffle recipe.
After the criticism of the gastronomic show, those who chose to eat truffles indicated what they thought.
Forskolin Keto Cycle About 76 percent of those who saw an ad emphasized the fun, taste, quality or luxury of eating an insect that decided to try the truffles. Compared to only 61% of those who showed an ad that increases food and environmental benefits. Fifty-seven percent of them showed an advertisement focused on nutrition. And 66 percent have an announcement of environmental benefits.
Similarly, those who saw the so-called fun-based ads were more likely to eat truffles than those who saw ads focusing on health and / or the environment.
The results were published in the September issue of Frontiers in Nutrition.
The idea that “people eat first for fun” makes sense to Connie Dickman, director of university nutrition at the University of Washington in St. Louis.
“I’ve seen this as a registered dietitian,” he said. “If the food does not taste good, regardless of their health or sincerity with the environment, people will not eat food.”
Insects certainly will not be an exception to this rule, as suggested by Dickmann, who is also the former president of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Ketozin “If the taste is fun, people can overcome the problem of perception, but, as with many new foods, the introduction should be gradual and focused on tips on taste and use.”
But the nutritionist Luna Sandon did not understand it, since the cold water spilled over the idea of a plate of hot lobsters.
“The American population in general is not ready to eat insects, I am one of them,” said Sandon, director of the Clinical Nutrition Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
“To become a culturally acceptable and socially acceptable food source, companies that are trying to sell insects or other insect-based foods will face a huge cultural barrier that must be overcome in the US market,” he said.
